These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of tree and shrub pruning services by Becimo. Please read them carefully before placing an order. By instructing Becimo to carry out any work, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Services on this website are provided by:
Any correspondence relating to these Terms, your order, or a complaint should be sent to the contact details above.
Orders for tree and shrub pruning services may be requested through our website, by telephone, or by email. A request submitted through any of these channels constitutes an enquiry only and does not form a binding contract until Becimo has confirmed acceptance in writing (including by email).
Upon confirmation, we will provide details of the scope of work, the estimated date of service, and the applicable price. It is your responsibility to check that the details in the confirmation are correct and to notify us promptly of any discrepancy.
Becimo reserves the right to decline any request, for example where the requested work is unsafe, requires specialist permissions (such as consent relating to protected trees), or falls outside our operational capacity.
All prices are quoted in pounds sterling (GBP) and, unless stated otherwise, include any applicable UK VAT. Prices are based on the information provided at the time of the enquiry, including site access, tree size, and condition. If, upon inspection, the scope of work differs materially from what was described, we will notify you of any revised price before proceeding.
A quotation covers labour, equipment, and standard waste removal for the agreed scope of work only, unless expressly stated otherwise. It does not include work on additional trees or shrubs not specified, remedial work arising from pre-existing disease or structural weakness discovered during the job, or any permissions or notifications required from local authorities, which remain your responsibility unless separately agreed.
Payment is due as specified in the confirmation of order, which may require payment on completion, or another schedule agreed in writing. We accept payment by the methods indicated at the time of booking.
You may cancel or reschedule a confirmed booking by contacting us at [email protected] or by phone. We ask that you provide as much notice as possible, as late cancellation may affect our ability to reallocate the appointment and may, in some cases, incur a reasonable charge to cover costs already committed.
If you are a consumer, you may have statutory cancellation rights under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 where the contract was concluded at a distance or off-premises. Where you have requested that work begin within the statutory cancellation period, you acknowledge that this right may be limited once the service has been fully performed.
If you are dissatisfied with the work carried out, please contact us as soon as possible, and in any event within a reasonable time, describing the issue. We will investigate promptly and, where appropriate, offer to remedy the matter, which may include rectification work or a partial refund. We aim to acknowledge complaints within a reasonable timeframe and resolve them fairly.
Becimo carries out all work with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015 where applicable. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for any other liability which cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Subject to the above, Becimo shall not be liable for indirect or consequential loss, for pre-existing damage or disease to trees and shrubs not caused by our work, or for loss arising from inaccurate information provided about the site or vegetation. Our total liability arising from any single instruction shall not exceed the total price paid for that service.
